Food Program
Eliminating Food Insecurity
Good News Outreach food program includes a food delivery service for seniors and a pantry for others experiencing food insecurity. In 2022, 11,905 people received a bag of food and 6,963 people had food delivered to their residence.

The Food Pantry operates out of Good News Outreach's warehouse, located at the backside of the building, at 606 W. 4th Avenue.
Hours of operation are as follows:
Wednesdays and Thursdays
9am-2pm

Other information:
-
Bring proof of residency in Leon County
-
Clients receive groceries once a month
-
Transportation to the pantry may be provided by Big Bend 2-1-1’s Lyft program. Call 2-1-1 in advance to schedule your ride.
The Senior Services program for seniors 55 or older is responsible for meal deliveries. Call (850) 692-3301 or email info@goodnewsoutreach.org for more information about receiving deliveries. Helping this service is simple.

The pantry depends on volunteers to sort nonperishable donations, check expiration/sell-by dates, and pack bags of food for people in need. One bag is enough for eight meals and thanks to our supporters, there is no cost to our clients.
